DS224+ won't detect Seagate IronWolf Pro 18TB drives
Hi all,
I have a freshly reset DS224+ (fully updated firmware) that won't detect two Seagate IronWolf Pro 18TB drives (ST18000NE000). At setup, the NAS says it can't see them.
The drives work fine in other systems, and I've confirmed the NAS itself works with 2x 1TB SATA SSDs. I've ruled out power (PSU is adequate) and tested different bay combinations.
According to Synology's compatibility list, other IronWolf models are supported up to 16TB. Since this is a Plus unit (not restricted like the 25 series was), I can't identify any reason these NAS drives shouldn't work. Support only seems to say that 'they're not on the list'. Apparently, these drives work in DS218+, DS918+, etc., based on my research, including on Reddit.
Has anyone encountered this issue or have suggestions?

Edit: It's running the latest 7.3.x stable release of DSM, and while 1TB 2.5" SSDs work, the 18TB IronWolf Pro won't, nor will the 10TB EXOS, or the 4TB IronWolf (non-Pro). 😞
