Anyone running the Chines Diesel Heaters, do you have any recommendations on alternative Glow Plugs then the original cheap Chinese plugs? Ideally Ceramic.
Looking at possibly a Kyocera Plug, but not sure on fitment.

Ok, so I have run these heater for a few years now, ive had them
In peices and i know them pretty well, but i cant get to the bottom of this one.
I have a heater, about 6 months old and it just smokes like mad, it also smokes inside, and smells badly. I cant understand how this is as to my knowledge there is no link between the burn chamber and the air the is heated.
It is also leave black suit all over the pace (see image attached). Does anyone know what is causing this?

Does anyone have or know where I can find a footprint for this style CC1101? I have looked everywhere and the footprints all seem to be for a different variation of the CC1101.

Hi I have an issue, not sure why but when I apply 12v, the power just disappears. Doesnt seem to be a short but with 12v connected, when I measure the supply voltage, the 12v is gone, when I unplug the board, 12v returns when floating, and gone again when I plug it into the board.
What am I missing here?

Hi there,
My PCB get really hot when powered. I suspect its the 3v3 regulator as the heat is coming from the circled component below on the PCB image.
The board works however it does continuously reboot (I assume brownouts). Is anyone also to assist as to why this is happening?
Also, for some reason when running on battery, or even charging the battery, I am getting a sharp squealing noise, that changes in tone.
Can anyone please advise on what could be the issues here?

The biggest hassle I find with my homelab is maintaining updates. Debian, docker etc etc.
How are you guys managing updates? Are you scripting them?
