I have just finished a six-week stay in Senegal and am scheduled to fly out early tomorrow morning. I have two checked-in suitcases that I would like to get wrapped at the airport. I am arriving in Serrakunda tomorrow by road from Senegal. I will be there for 2 nights and need a sim recommendation.

I tried to top up my Orange sim with a roaming pass for the Gambia but it said the pass is not in service yet as the Gambia is not a part of BCEAO.

Does anyone have any e-sim recommendations? I'd prefer to buy one before I head there tomorrow.

Hello, like the title mentions I'm a female traveler in Dakar for sometime. This also means I am away from my family & friends for Tabaski, and will be in Dakar during this time.

I would love to go to a mosque for salah in the morning. Are there any mosques you would recommend for a traveler whose French is not the best? I stay in the Plateau area so anything nearby would be great.

Also, what time is the salah in the morning? And how early would you recommend I get there?

Note: I live in a very small city where we only have 2 mosques, so it really isn't a big decision on where to pray & what time to get there, hence all the questions - thank you in advance!

I'm a big lover of desert blues and kora music. I'm currently in Dakar for three weeks and looking to see if there's any place (or upcoming event) where I could catch some live music of this sort?

I just got to Dakar a few days ago and exchanged an initial amount of USD at the airport (very bad rate, 520!).

I'm wondering where in the city would be a reliable spot to get good exchange rates on USD?
