Lots of daffodils to deadhead tho

Mom got quoted 900 to pressure wash, replace the steps first piece of wood (not whole step) and then paint. Seems a bit steep for a small area. Massachusetts. Is it a decent price or should my bro and I just do it ourselves over a weekend.
