I NEED HELP!

I’m currently on the lookout for an iPad, as I mainly use it for schoolwork. That means Goodnotes, PDFs, and maybe the odd Excel or PowerPoint file. I won’t be using it for personal purposes, but mainly for school.

However, I don’t want a high-end tablet that I feel like I could use to play Forza 6 on, so I’d be happy to buy a second-hand, older model, as I really don’t fancy wasting a lot of money on it.

My budget is actually 160 euros (I know that’s not much, really), but when I think about the fact that I only need this iPad for my studies anyway, I reckon it’ll do the job somehow.

Do you have any recommendations, or am I completely dreaming with that price in mind?

I need ur help guys...

So, I’ve been waiting for over two weeks for a reply on Prolific and thought I’d have a look here to see if anyone could help me sooner.

The thing is, I was born in a country other than Germany. I was very young at the time.
But as I’ve been living here in Germany for a long time (20+ years), I’m allowed to use Prolific.

However, when signing up, there’s a field that says: "Place of birth"

The problem is that my country isn’t listed there and, to be honest, I don’t know what I should select.
I actually have to fill in that section, so unfortunately there’s no way round it.
I don’t want to make a mistake by accident and get banned from Prolific.

If any of you know what the best thing to do is, that would be really kind!

Hey, I was recently accepted onto UserTesting and wanted to ask about your experiences in general, how useful UserTesting has been for you so far.

How much (if you’re willing to say) have you already earned this year or last month just through UserTesting?
Is it worth it?

Also, how do I actually know when I should speak English, for example, and when I should switch to German or even to spanish for the test?

It would be great if you could share your experiences. Thanks in advance!

Can I (if support ever replies) be logged into my Prolific account on multiple devices?
For example, I have two laptops and a PC.

  • One is my work laptop (I got it from work) and I’d like to do a few surveys on it whilst I’m at work.
  • The other laptop is my personal one. If I go travelling, for example, I take that one with me.
  • And my PC is my main machine. I play games on it, edit videos and watch Netflix and so on.

If anyone knows about this, it would be really kind of you to help me out. Thanks!

Hey, I think there are already thousands of Reddit posts on this topic, but I wanted to ask properly this time, because I’m from Germany and there really aren’t many I know of that are any good.

So far, the following have been suggested to me:

- CloudResearch (unfortunately not yet available in Germany)

- dScout (unfortunately no jobs for several months now – probably because of Germany.)

- Data Annotation (unfortunately, same as dScout. No jobs. Probably again because of Germany.)

- Amazon mTurk (unfortunately, I was rejected or not accepted.)

- Respondent (I can’t verify my number, for whatever reason.)

- Prolific (I’m waiting for customer support)

- UserTesting (I’m still waiting for confirmation. Hope they accept me...)

The only thing that’s actually worked so far, though it only gives me a few cents, is:

- SerpClix

I’ve earned $1 so far (1 Week) just by clicking on websites. But unfortunately, that’s the only thing that’s actually worked for me here in Germany.

So if you have any further suggestions, please let me know. I’d be incredibly grateful.
