NEW REALEASE! THE BOMBR!

It's fake, sorry! hahaha

I think I got too far in Blender, but I can't be happier with all the things that I learned in the past month. Not sure about the name for the brand, but I lost my cat this past Sunday, so I'm trying to honour him with RUFF (his name was Ruffus). Let's see what the future holds.

If this comes true someday, it would be an achievement.

Updating my yoyo designs!

I just refined both shapes with the calculations (on the bottom right) and added the response pads for the visuals. Now I'm on a mission to make both render in Blender, but it's harder than making the CAD, for sure!

What do you guys think? Where can I improve or change?

This is a hell of fun!

I'm really into learning how to design every shape and size of yoyos. And I know this one is not new, but it's fun to deal with all the curves and sizes to get into some final form with the right weight.

Missed the flow but learned a figure-8 rail(?).

Is that a chopstick element? If it is, that was my first too! I'm happy with this one.

It's hard to be a Brazilian thrower!

I'm aware of the YYF controversy, and honestly, I don't support them anymore. But since this Counter Attack was my first contact with yoyoing back in 2009 or 2010, I thought, why not search for one to add to the collection, but...

How can the shipping cost be that much? I'm really pissed about that.
And this isn't including taxes, which will double the cost when it arrives.

Ain't gonna happen.

Just keep learning!

New way for me to enter on a 1.5 GT.

As I always said, enjoy the process, even if it's harder.

Polycarbonate Budget Banger

An unknown brand called RadianceMoon got my attention with the specs:
- D: 59 mm
- W: 52.2 mm
- W: 66 g

And it's pretty much what I imagined it would be. It's light but powerful and pretty stable. Maybe a great option for beginners? Who knows.

The smoothest budget yoyo I ever threw!

July Yoyo Sharpness V2
I'm really impressed by how silent and smooth this throw is. Practically zero vibe, light and powerful. Simply wow!

Weight: 65.2 g
Diameter: 55.9 mm
Width: 47.5 mm

Of course, this is not new. But what's the name of it?

The first one is like a laceration to the kamikaze mount?
I have to write these tricks' names so I won't forget.

At least it's a really fun trick to start a combo.

Let me get something of my chest here...

I feel like a weirdo in my country’s yoyo community, which makes me isolate myself even more.

Let me explain. I'm a 35-year-old guy living in Brazil who started throwing yoyos a couple of years ago. My passion for yoyos started long ago, but I never had the money to buy a good yoyo or access to the national brands that shaped the Brazilian yoyo scene. This was because I spent most of my time growing as an adult and working toward a better life. Now, with a bit more access and free time, I can focus on learning yoyoing seriously.

But then I realized I missed the foundation of this community, and they aren’t very welcoming to people who don’t know the history of yoyo in Brazil or the names behind the local yoyo scene. Well... this is really frustrating.

I feel like I never had the chance to meet those people in the past, and now I feel more disconnected because I also lack the opportunity to learn about the history or the founders of this community.

I'm not sure if the US yoyo community is welcoming to everyone, but it seems like you've had more chances to hang out with the "founding fathers" of yoyoing and meet the skilled players who throw a 9.0 hook with their eyes closed.

What do I aim to do by sharing this story? Honestly, not much. I'm no longer a kid, and building connections gets harder every year. I just want to express myself here, where I've always felt like I'm part of this community.

Thanks, guys, for making this gray-bearded smile every time I post here.

Just learn this one today!

Rewind always gets some reels with tricks that are not too complicated to try, so I give this one a chance, and that's it! I just need to improve the slack element cause it's not flashy enough.

Using: Boreas II (PC) by Yoyoempire.

The process

Someone talked about the process early on here, so I thought, why not show how I learn a new trick? I started learning this one this afternoon and ended up filming past midnight. So, it's difficult and frustrating sometimes, but I really enjoy the result.

Probably everyone knows this one, but it's pretty new for me! hahaha
Trapeze brother slack into ninja vanish.

Hope you guys enjoy learning every new trick.

My new favorite!

It's awesome how TOPYO keeps releasing bangers without anyone knowing. This one is the Star Ocean.

Specs:

Diameter: 58.2mm
Width: 53.6mm
Weight: 65.4g
Materials: 6061AL+PC
