Hunger/Food Aversions side effects

I have been on the 10.2 capsule of caplyta. I am not quite sure when this specific side effect started, I just noticed it has severely impacted my day-to-day life about three weeks ago (I’ve been on caplyta about 6 weeks) and I am not even sure if this is from the caplyta or I am having some other unknown health issue.

I cannot eat anything really, at all. At most I can get down minimal amounts of fruits and vegetables but only when I am craving them. I have struggled with low-blood sugar ever since I was a toddler (non-diabetic that I’m aware of) so when I feel low I drink a glass of orange juice or Gatorade. These past few weeks I have been relying on mostly these juices to remain alive. I can get down a few bites a day, and occasionally about half a meal a day.

I am not understanding why I can’t eat. I can cook protein (I am vegetarian, so veggie based protein), I have even tried real meat, which was worse… but then when I’m about to eat the food I get extremely nauseous and by body sort of rejects it, and I’ll gag and have to spit it out.

This has left me very weak, tired, dizzy, and feeling faint.

I see my psychiatrist this Friday, I even start seeing a nutritionist this Thursday to see what I should do. Depending on that, I might be contacting my PCP.

I am so sorry if this isn’t allowed in this sub, I am just not sure if this is caused by the caplyta, but that is the most recent major change in my health. I was wondering if any of you have had this experience, or know someone who has?
