I’m actively DJing for 4 years now, after a long break. For the first time I said I will stop using VirtualDJ or DjayPro and go with Pioneer gear and software. I bring my own equipment to the bars I’m playing because theirs are not well maintained.

Well it fucks me every time. Version 7.2.18
Yesterday Rekordbox decided to not show me the library browser, at all. I had to stop music and restart multiple times.

I have an M2 MacBook so there is no issue with computing power.

- I get glitchy waveforms
- I get waveforms that disappear at random times and instantly reload again.
- I get corrupted USBs and databases
- Search in library is unstable. I do not understand if it always searches for titles or artist name etc
- I have had stems stop working multiple times.
- I have had tracks not playing on my headphones.

I have never had those issues with VirtualDJ and so much cheaper hardware (controllers)

Sometimes Rekordbox reminds me of Serato. Serato has also been proven unstable for me.

Is there something I’m missing?

I just got my first pioneer gear (flx4) and im trying to get a good understanding of rekordbox and prepping playlists.

I create an onelibrary playlist that i have tracks with hotcues and memory cues in it. I add comments to memory cues, i export the playlist but then i cannot preview my comments on the waveforms

What am i missing?
