My boy is gone

He stopped eating, and didn’t poop for 2 days. As soon as i saw him face plant, that was it. I could not watch this anymore and made the decision to euthanize. 19.5 years is more than i could’ve ever fathomed having the privilege to love a cat that loved me so much. I love you T. A hole in my heart there will be, but a beautiful memory of you will always remain.

A hard decision

My boy Tino is 19.5 years old. He was diagnosed with stage 3 today. I asked the vet for advice, and they said he would have months to maybe a year even if i started a renal diet with medications. He eats a lot, cuddles, jumps up and down the stairs, enjoys time with his brother and sister. Apart of me wants to call it, but seeing him full of life makes this so hard.. i feel like i should try the renal foods just for a few months just to see. I will add he has lost a lot of weight, but he has diarrhea a lot too. I just need advice because I’ve never been in this situation

Took 2 months to lose 10 lbs, but that’s okay. I’m doing my best to maintain muscle. Love handles are still there, but slowly fading away. My hips are finally noticeably wider than my handles lol. I’m 6ft2 240 lbs, i started at 291. I fast for 18 hours a day and 20 hours on the weekend. I go to the gym 3 days a week. I do not eat candy anymore. I avoid added sugar as well.

Pictures are: top left is start, top right is 2 months in, bottom left is 4 months in, bottom right is now at 6 months and 10 days in.
