as a beginner in US investing what are the things to look for while selecting platform?
i do not have much understanding of investing, i invested a little in indian stocks a while back, have some decent corpus now of around 9+ lacs and looking to invest in US. but the jargons are confusing me, remittance,conversion,GIFT city etc. which factors matter the most while choosing platform for US investing. Is it brokerage,UI, FX rates or something else. Would love to hear about these.
