Hi! Curious to hear some denovo success stories and how long it took for things to pick up and seem brighter. I’ve only heard the negative about doctors digging themselves into huge holes and never being able to bonus, but just wanted to hear if there was a positive side to it all. What worked for your office or was a success story? Trying to decide if I should commit to a denovo that’s been open for a year, but it seems like they’re still in the very early stages of growth

Recent grad here with a question for the endo folks

If a pt has an existing crown with what appears to be a cast post, and they may need endo re tx, how does endo access and do the re-tx. Do I need to take off the crown and remove the cast post and then send them? I was never taught to do that in dental school I don’t even know how I would approach the removal of that. I also don’t know how to obviously tell if it’s a cast post or just really radiopaque material

In search of a high quality custom home builder for a midsize 2500 sq foot home. All the luxury builders I’ve reached out to have build out costs over 1 million. Truthfully looking for a custom home feel but on a budget if that’s practical. Land will be around 250k so looking for a build out of 450-500k. Looking to build in Sunnyvale or Garland

First time visiting the coast and we opted to stay in Praiano to be in the middle of both Positano and Amalfi- biggest mistake.

We spent 2 weeks prior to this all over Europe and had 0 issues with availability of Taxis / uber / bolt but in amalfi….better be prepared. Took us 2 hours to find a taxi to take us from Amalfi city center to Praiano and it cost 120 euro. Took us another hour of waiting to take taxi from Praiano to Positano (random taxi that stopped along his way) charged us 60 euro.

Second day we tried the bus and we waited at the Praiano bus stop from 10:30am to 1:20pm. 7 SITA busses passed us and each and every one was packed and wasn’t allowing anyone on. Finally gave up and found a taxi on his way and paid the 100 euro to make it to Amalfi.

Lesson learned- only come to amalfi with a private driver. Don’t stay in Praiano if you plan on using the SITA bus because you will never have space to get on.

Transportation headaches alone made this my least favorite place and I don’t even want to come back ever

Flew from Barcelona Airport to Lisbon Portugal on 5/9 and we were weary of them being super picky with our overweight carry on bags. They did not weigh our backs or using the sizer box for any of our bags. They did however have the TAP measuring boxes and small tent like barricade off to the side. Our flight was delayed 3 hours and departed at 1am so maybe that’s why they were less picky. Don’t know if it will always be like this - just a heads up!
