I got 44.3km/l or 104mpg, I’m doubting if it’s accurate though?
I bought a Toyota Aqua 2017 from beforward japan in March with 49k mileage. Checked the battery the guy cleaned it and balance two cells after load test, said my battery is healthy just make sure it stays clean (fan, ac etc). I use 0w-16.
On the first ever tank after I got it , the shipper drove it from the Dar to Dodoma (I live in Tanzania 🇹🇿) like 420km, plus more city driving a week later it got 4 bars left with 572km like on the pic meaning i could get 900+km on full. But the range on the day I filled it up it read 670km only.
I filled the tank like 3 times already I just don’t know if thise range readings are accurate. Like the first tank was economical, the next ones still are but I really want it to read 800-900 range, plus the trip B (second tank) read 21km/l average and 26km/l first time.
Today driving from the station to my place like 4-5kms the dynamic avg kml read 44.3km/l that’s crazy and contradictory to the range the car gives. I don’t sit in traffic on my way to work, my city doesn’t have that much traffic but my daily driving usually doesn’t exceed 60kmh unless I’m going distant places (thrice) or overtaking.
My question is, Should I take those readings seriously?
Any way to reset the range readings for the car to get used to me? I’m planning on using Liquimoly Gasoline System Cleaner just to clean everything and see
