Furry friends on the beach
As a dog owner and lover, I feel super strange about posting this.
That being said the dogs on the beach has gotten out of control in Venice.
Six months ago, I had my kid and surfboard attacked by a dog on the beach. The owner just simply grabbed their dog and left. No apologies nothing.
Today I had a dog pee on my umbrella set up when I confronted the owner. He was super disrespectful, and again no apologies.
I feel like a Karen for saying this, but I think something needs to be done.
As much as I love to bring my dog to the beach, I personally think the city should enforce the no dogs on the beach rule. Entitled people without of control dogs unfortunately ruined this.
What does the community think? I’m thinking about calling the city and asking for more enforcement.
