Please don’t downvote me to hell, obviously Chuck is a god and (from what I could tell) seemed like a way nicer dude than Steffen is, but most people dismiss Obscura just because Steffen has kicked so many people out of his band, while people look way more favorably towards death even though Chuck was doing the same thing for every album?

Towards the end of the chapter the gang kills a group of troops sent by the city for scalps, even chasing down the remaining members and hiding the evidence. The general consensus online is that these troops were sent out to find and apprehend the gang and that is why Glanton attacks. If this is the case, why at the end of the chapter does the city still accept the scalps from the gang and not reprimand them? You would think if they just sent out troops to arrest them they wouldn’t still allow them into their city, much less pay them for the scalps and let them leave.
