Decided to follow Madanach's boys out of Cidhna Mine for the first time since 2011. Didn't go great.
Normally I just leave them to it once we've roughed up Thonar and his guards.
This time, during what must be my 10th playthough, I decided to follow them once they leave Markarth after fighting their way out of the mine.
In the space of five minutes, they had all been killed by an Ancient Dragon that spawned outside Markarth almost instantly, burning them to a crisp.
Madanach himself isn't even in the screenshot because he got chewed up and spat out (by the same dragon) a few minutes earlier.
Ah, well. We gave it a shot!
