LCD has developed some patches....It doesn't display properly

This calculator was purchased quite a few years back but has not been used as much. Today I found the display having these sort of patches (idk how else to describe this) and very difficult to see the numbers.
Can this be cleaned?
Or does LCD need to be replaced?
Or should I buy a new calc altogether? (I use calc occasionally though...)

Can metacognition and neuroplasticity help reshape our relationship with stuttering?

I recently came across that widely shared clip from Eileen Gu's interview again, where a young interviewer asks her to "take us into your brain."

Watching it again, I found myself relating to the way she described her thinking, on the surface, it felt pretty similar (or at least that's the impression I got after talking it through with gpt). The obvious difference is that the outcomes are very different, which got me wondering what I might be missing and hence the discussion with gpt. (I am aware that ai can be overly biased towards the user, but the conversation was helpful, we really *unraveled* a lot of things)

The interview and the discussion left me with two terms: neuroplasticity and metacognition.

I'm curious to know if anyone here has explored these topics in relation to stuttering and its deeper cognitive/psychological effects. Or maybe could suggest some resources for the same.

Thanks!
