Feeling desparate

My almost 10 month old who was feeding herself like a champ from 6 months has completely stopped self feeding and demands to be fed and throws a fit and throws food everywhere even when she is hungry. Started BLW at 6 months.

Context: About a month ago, we moved into my in law's place from my mom's while we are building our home.

  1. My baby used to eat with us every meal when we ate. This changed after moving to a different city where my in-laws live and their timings are wildly different. So, I'm having to make separate meals for her and the family. And they eat super spicy food and we can't just offer what's on our plate. They eat bf at 11 am, lunch at 4 pm and dinner at 8 pm. This has completely thrown off my baby's 8 am, 1 pm, 5 pm schedule.

  2. We had to be on the go on a lot of days cuz we are shopping for stuff for our home. So we did purees and spoon feeding while on the road cuz BLW was time and effort consuming and didn't seem like a feasible option on the road. But now, she has gotten used to the more efficient spoon feeding and doesn't wanna go back to self feeding. I think this was the biggest mistake I made.

  3. Baby is teething and starting to walk independently. She has started vocalising and gesturing "No" even for the slightest inconveniences. Don't know if these things have got anything to do with this.

  4. I've tried just putting food on her tray and eating the same food in front of her with wild animated gestures, tried stories for self feeding. Nothing has worked so far.

How do I get her to eat by herself again? I'm so desperate.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Accidentally gave my baby honey

I feel like a terrible mom writing this! I made some broccoli tofu yesterday and sweetened the dish with honey. In the morning when my father in law asked if he can give honey to the baby, i told him that honey is a strict no no to babies under 1. But on the same day, i forgot I had put honey in the dish and fed the baby a small piece of a floret of broccoli. She was really interested and started grabbing the food from my plate and I was happy that she wanted to eat big people's food now and gave her a really small piece without thinking twice. It was immediately after she swallowed it happily did i realise that I'd made the dish with honey. We immediately rushed to the doctor's and he said it should probably be fine. But I'm super worried and livid at myself. For context, the dish would've been around 500 g and i probably added around 20 g of honey and gave her a small piece, maybe 1/5th of a floret. The honey is unpasteurized though. It is wild flower honey from the mountains. We are monitoring for symptoms. I think I came here to maybe hear from others that she is going to be fine. I want my baby to be ok.
