How the hell do you actually quit smoking?

I’ve smoked for around 4 years, usually 3–4 cigarettes a day. I’ve tried quitting, but my brain always goes: “Just one cigarette. You’ll quit tomorrow.” And yeah… tomorrow never comes.

My longest streak so far is 24 hours.
For those who actually quit, what worked for you? I need some real tips and motivation.

Also, be honest: should quitting mean never touching a cigarette again, or can you eventually smoke occasionally after drinks/special occasions?

Help a struggling smoker out😭

Moving from India on a Work & Holiday visa (462)—would love some lifestyle reality checks!

Hey everyone,
I’m an MBA student from India hoping to head over to Australia for 1–2 years on the new 462 Work & Holiday visa. I'm completely funding this trip myself and want to experience the culture and make local friends.
Since I'll be working to support myself, I'd love some unfiltered advice on the daily reality:
Cost of living vs. casual wages: Will a standard 38-hour casual retail or warehouse wage comfortably cover shared rent, groceries, and a weekend social life?
Social integration: How easy is it for an international newcomer to genuinely integrate into the local community, join social groups, and make friends?
The Room Hunt: I keep reading about the housing crunch. Is it incredibly difficult to find a room in a sharehouse right now?
