TTC. 29. Off birth control and been getting sick since. Covid, flu, flu again, strep.

I am twenty nine years old and have been off birth control for 1 year. I was on birth control for at least 10 years (I’ve lost count), and everything seems to be in working order. Except I keep getting sick. Like the sickest in my life. Most sickness has come after travel, conferences, etc. but I’ve never had this many high fever/actual sickness/calling out of work situations since I got of birth control.

My questions are has this happened to you when getting off birth control? Does being sick (especially with accompanying fevers) limit your ability to conceive? When does the sickness stop lol?

For reference
I have regular periods. No pcos, endometriosis, or other health problems. Checked fertility and all within normal ranges and confirmed ovulation (partner is chill too). I exercise for 30-45 mins 5 days out of the week. I wasn’t a sick kid growing up either. I like my sweets but eat healthy/balanced diet. I touch grass.

More a sickness birth control health related question with a lil TTC sprinkled in there.
(Still a big fan of birth control here and would honestly love to be on it still if I wasn’t trying to conceive #acne)

Thanks for anything yall have to share!
