The trade didn’t go as planned but I still sold the gun I was going trade for $450 and grabbed the SKS for $450. It seems to be in pretty decent condition minus some wear on the stock and some slight rust. All the serial numbers match though and the bolt looks clean. Any tips on how to tackle the surface rust? Was thinking some steel wool and hoppe’s. Thanks again for everyone who chimed in on the original post!

I know it’s a Norinco SKS and that’s about it. Assuming it’s the common Type 56 but I have no way to know since this is my first time seeing one. It’s a potential trade and I am trying to figure out if it is worth it and would appreciate any advice and a possible valuation on it. Also supposedly comes in the original case and with the paperwork. The case doesn’t seem too old though. Thanks in advance!
