I have already paid ₹3,09,000 towards my VIT Vellore tuition fees. Hostel fees for my preferred hostel are around ₹1,87,000 per year. Do I need to pay the hostel fees immediately during hostel booking, or can I pay them later in June/July when I come to VIT for orientation and reporting? Has anyone been able to pay the hostel fees after arriving on campus, or is advance payment mandatory to secure the hostel room?

After paying the first instalment they are now asking to upload 12th marksheet but i am going to sit for compartment exam as i don’t have 60 percent in PCM so should i be uploading the marksheet which says i have compartment or what to do and also i have comp exam on 15 july and will get result on 1st august will they accept that till early aug if i clear criteria or 60 percent will they allow admission and if not will the return full fees of academic as well as hostel

I have been provisionally admitted to VIT Vellore mechanical engineering, but unfortunately I haven’t scored 60% PCM in 12th grade, and I am going to sit for improvement exam in July, so for the time being the section, where we have to upload the 12th mark sheet after paying the first instalment, should I leave that place blank or should I upload my mark sheet which says RT in chemistry and which has less than 60% or should I leave it blank?

I got compartment in CBSE Chemistry, so currently my PCM aggregate is below 60%. I’m planning to give the compartment exam and expect to cross 60% after the result in July/August.

But VIT is asking for fee payment now during counselling.

If I take provisional admission and later still fail to meet the 60% PCM criteria, will VIT refund the fees? Has anyone faced this situation before?

I got a good rank in VITEEE and I am eligible for a good branch, but unfortunately I received a compartment in Chemistry in CBSE Class 12. Because of that, my current PCM aggregate is 55%, below the required 60% criteria.

I am confident that I will clear the Chemistry compartment exam in July and after that my PCM percentage will become more than 60%. The compartment result will probably come around August.

So I wanted to ask if anyone here has faced a similar situation or knows about this:

Can I still participate in VIT counselling? If I get a seat and pay the admission fees, will VIT keep my admission provisional and reserve my seat until I submit the updated marksheet after the compartment result?

Would really appreciate any help or guidance regarding this situation.
