Why are teacher's canes being sold in moulavi?
I was at Moulavi Stationery in Kasaragod last month and noticed they were selling wooden canes like the ones teachers used to carry back in the day.
Are they being bought for things like pointers or other uses, or is it just something that's continued out of tradition?
Also I'm curious about the legal position rather than the morality of it. If anyone knows the relevant laws or has legal knowledge, I'd appreciate the explanation.
