Forgot to extend my eTron's warranty. Are these Fidelity prices fair?
I have a 2022 Audi e-tron with about 27k miles, and like an idiot I forgot to extend the factory warranty before it expired about two months ago.
I found out the hard way that once the warranty lapses, getting an Audi Pure warranty is a lot more complicated. It requires an inspection, and from what I've been told, the dealer that does the inspection is the one that has to sell you the warranty. If I had extended it before it expired, I could've shopped around between Audi dealers.
I called Heather in Ohio, who gets recommended here a lot, and while she can't do Audi Pure now, she quoted me a Fidelity warranty.
$100 deductible
- 4 years/48k: $6,320
- 5 years/60k: $6,790
- 6 years/72k: $7,606
- 7 years/100k: $10,735
$250 deductible
- 4 years/48k: $5,415
- 5 years/60k: $5,785
- 6 years/72k: $6,422
- 7 years/100k: $8,862
Do these seem like decent prices? Just looking for some advice.
Also, let this be a reminder: if you're thinking about getting Audi Pure, don't let your factory warranty expire like I did.
EDIT: Called a dealer here for Audi Pure Platinum:
- 3yr/36K--$6166
- 4yr/48K--$7316
- 5yr/30K--$7352
