I need legal advice about private images of me from when I was a minor (16).

Images that were originally posted online years ago are now being reposted on adult websites and forums without my consent. Some pages describe me as being 18, but I was actually under 18 at the time the images were created or shared.

I have proof of my age, and I have saved the relevant URLs, screenshots, dates, page titles and usernames. I do not want to post any links or screenshots here because I do not want to spread the material further or encourage anyone to look for it.

I have started sending takedown requests, but I am worried because the content keeps being copied or reposted elsewhere. What is the safest legal way to handle this?

Should I report this to the police, a child protection organisation, the websites, the hosting providers, or all of them?

What evidence should I keep, and how can I preserve it without accidentally sharing or redistributing illegal material?

Toen ik 16 was, zijn er seksuele/intieme beelden van mij online geplaatst. Een deel van die inhoud kwam jaren geleden oorspronkelijk van Reddit, maar wordt nu opnieuw geplaatst op pornografische afbeeldingssites zonder mijn toestemming.

Ik heb bewijs dat ik op dat moment minderjarig was. Ik heb ook de forum-/pagina-URL’s en screenshots waarop de pagina’s, datums, threadtitels en gebruikersnamen te zien zijn, maar ik wil de links niet openbaar posten omdat ik de beelden niet verder wil verspreiden.

Ik ben al begonnen met verwijderverzoeken naar de websites te sturen, maar ik maak me zorgen omdat de inhoud telkens opnieuw wordt geplaatst of gespiegeld op andere sites. Sommige threads beschrijven mij ook als 18, terwijl ik geen 18 was op het moment dat de beelden werden gemaakt of gedeeld.

Mijn vragen zijn:

1. Moet ik dit rechtstreeks melden bij de politie, Child Focus of een andere instantie?
2. Welk bewijs moet ik bewaren zonder per ongeluk illegaal materiaal verder te verspreiden?
3. Als de websites zich buiten NL bevinden of diensten zoals Cloudflare gebruiken, wat is dan de juiste juridische route?
4. Als een site de inhoud verwijdert maar gebruikers die daarna opnieuw posten, bestaat er dan een sterkere juridische stap die ik kan nemen?

3. What evidence should I keep without accidentally redistributing illegal material?
4. If a site removes the page but users repost it again, is there a stronger legal route to stop repeated reposting?
