Is there a time interval in which switching gears for a window ac with a built in inverter will cause degradation?

Working on home automation with a Midea U window ac and some PV panels and battery. I’d like to set automations to where if the solar coming in is in a certain range for 8 minutes then change the power draw of the compressor. I’m thinking that because it changes the speed of the compressor gradually then it would be safe. But need someone who knows for sure to help and tell me if that is the case or not. Thank you

When input is as much as output the battery use zeroes out…but if the input is up to 30 watts or more I’m losing battery….what?

F3000 .Is this normal? To save battery through the night I leave the inverter switched to on but the appliances are off so it’s using roughly 35 watts.

In the early morning as the sun is coming up and am receiving 30-40 watts of PV, the monitor zeroes out. But as it starts picking up and am getting a little more watts the monitor shows I’m losing 15-35 watts. If I add a small fan load onto the extra coming in it zeroes back out instead of showing discharging. It seems I only zero back out if the input is 80 watts more coming in and any more than that 80 will show it’s charging the battery.

Very confused by that.

Does charging and discharging the battery at the same time reduce or add to the C rate?

Curious if charging the battery at say .25c and discharging .15c counts as .10c or .40c

DC auxiliary port is warm when nothing plugged into it

(F300LFP) When I have dc on and have usb devices charging/ running it varies output by 4-17 watts. The auxiliary port which is not in use is pretty warm at 116•F while the room is 78. Multimeter is showing 13.2 volts when measuring the socket. Is this normal? If it was a short it would be hotter, right?

In a series parallel setup if the voc and imp are lower than the power stations max input but the watts are over…

The max amount, Then it just gets clipped right? No damage to the power station?

In cold weather it’ll be 300 over while in the heat of summer it will be at to slightly below

Do modular anti-shade solar panels when combined in series act like they are in parallel?

Curious how these panels work when run in series. Like if 30% of 3/6 panels are shaded then will it behave like they are in series or parallel seeing as how each panel is made of 4 independent cells.

Is there a risk for using the max amperage of solar input on a power station?

If I run the panels in series it comes out to 25 amps which is the max that the input says it can take. just curious as to even though it’s at the limit if there would still be more degradation than using a less amp input
