why is the X86/PC installation process still so overly complicated on this day and age?

I get its not their main target but i think it should be possible to create a more friendly process or perhaps a proper installer.

I know its done by volunteers and I appreciate their work and no, i am not a programmer so no, i cant create it so please keep your snarky comments to yourself.

I am tech savvy enough to install and run OPNSense which I’m currently using, but I really dislike how convoluted their whole design is and miss using OpenWRT, which i did back in the day with the original NightHawk 7000 router.

I tried over and over to do it following their official install guide and trying to find friendlier guides ended being even worse.

So I ask again, why can this process be done more friendly?

But why it seems that all my APC UPS always fail between 1 and 4 am?

I’m talking about the ES and similar home models types.

I have observed this behavior for over 10 years on different models.

On another note, any Mac friendly UPS brands that provide proper software suite?

APC doesn’t provide such option.

Wondering why there was never a GEOS release for the Amiga.

I dont recall ever hearing about such a version and Google seems to confirm that.

Any idea why Commodore never worked with Berkeley Soft in porting it to the amiga?

Edit Starting over, since the comments are not responding to what I originally asked.

Perhaps I didnt wrote the post correctly, I meant when Commodore was working on releasing the Amiga 1000, so instead of creating Workbench, they went with GEOS.

I tried Clonezilla and Rescuezilla using Ventoy and an external USB drive to store the images.

For whichever reason, no matter how I do this, I have never been able to have a successful restore using Rescuezilla.

I used Macrium before but noted that is discontinued.

Which options exists that are better to clone and create images of Windows to restore on the same PC or and also other PCs?

Format is NTFS, Bitlocker turned off, no other encryption used so decrypted or never encrypted drives.

Edit For clarification, looking for a properly free software, not trial or anything like that.

The volume is minuscule.
