Planning a trip to Curacao for January for our 60th bday, but are getting analysis paralysis... so many options.

Looking for some real world advice / recommendations based on this:

* Hotel or 'villa' - with beach access (walking distance)
* Quiet, we ain't partying no more :)
* No all-inclusive, but would like breakfast
* We'll rent a car so we can take trips/explore, but would be nice if there are some restaurants nearby
* No 'hoity-toity' dining, just decent (local) food

I resisted the 'new firmware' message for a long time, but I finally gave in... and now I'm paying for it. After the FW upgrade my outdoor V2 no longer charges? Had it hooked up to a solar panel and it worked just fine for years. Now the battery drained and it looks like even when I hook it up to USB it no longer charges? Can I downgrade the firmware, or is it just a coincidence?

Anybody have experience with these? I have no experience yet with meshtastic and this looks like a fun way to start with a client that potentially also can be used for other projects?
