Little intermittently blinking blue led in aisle seat panels?
I was on a BER-AMS Cityhopper the other day and noticed this blue LED on the side panel of one of the aisle seats, row 31 iirc. It was mostly out, sometimes briefly solid (say, up to a minute or so at a time), and sometimes blinking in an intermittent way (no pattern that I could puzzle out). I did see another seat about 6 rows further up that also intermittently blinked, but not at the same time. Definitely not a call light. Does anyone know what they are for? The only thing I could guess of was that it is part of the emergency exit lighting, but then I would think it wouldn’t be active during normal flight, or if it was a wonky one then it probably wouldn’t be two of them being wonky. Tried googling and just got a million seatmaps (and learned the fun trivia that apparently the Embraer cityhoppers don’t get names like the bigger planes, which seems a bit like the fun police have expanded their jurisdiction unfairly). TIA.
