3 Months into FL Studio, Video Game Music: Advice?

First, let me state that I only know the basics of mixing(volume adjustment and EQ) so I'll probably make some improvement to the track in the future when I learn more on mixing

Second, Any advice on how to improve on SOUND SELECTION?

I tend to spend a lot of hours just auditioning presets, which is really annoying especially when I ended up changing my mind after listening to my projects

And Sorry if you Audio Quality of the video is terrible

2 months into FL Studio as a beginner, video game boss music V2.

I'm 17 and learning game dev as a hobby and with that being said learning music production too, is something also what I want to do. I'm in no rush and I'm ok with taking my time learning both skills.

This is my attempt at boss music.

Update: I just noticed that the audio is really compressed in this video so the bass and separation of instruments frequencies and really noticeable. So here's the link to the beat on my Google drive:

2 months into FL Studio as a beginner, video game music.

I'm 17 and learning game Dev as a hobby and of course with trying to learn the skill, music composition is necessary.

I'm also interested in learning music composition for the sake of making my own video game music for my projects.

I could probably pay someone else who has more experienced to make the game music for me but I'm not in a rush and I'm okay with taking my time learning music production.

2 months into FL Studio as they beginner: Trying something new V2

Let me start off by saying I know nothing about guitar music theory and it seems to be more complicated compared to learning piano😅.

So it sounds kind of rough.

2 months into FL Studio as a beginner: trying something new

Apart from my first two projects the genre I've been making my beats and is Chiptune video game music,

For once I decided to make something different,

I don't really know what genre this is but it's giving Spanish music vibes.

And I couldn't completely avoid making it sound like it's from a video game, muscle memory I guess 😆.

Here's an updated version of it I decided to make the composition less complicated, it helps since I know nothing about guitar music theory:

2 months into FL Studio: Advice

I've run out of ideas on what to include in this beat.

Adding drums kind of ruins the calm vibe.

I don't know if I should add more instrument but I don't want instruments that serve no purpose.

Maybe I'll add a bass instrument but it sounds ok without one.

It just feels like it's complete even though it's kind of short.

2 months into FL Studio as a beginner, video game music

This was suppose to be a recreation of the STARLIGHT ZONE Ost from Sonic 1 but I accidentally wrote this in a minor scale(D# minor) before realizing that the original OST is written in a major scale, I don't know if the issue stemmed from the ost being in a minor scale cuz the subordinate lead couldn't support the main lead anymore were some of their notes were clashing, so this forced me to partially rewrite the main lead and the subordinate lead.

And since I was in a different scale from what I initially wanted, I just decided to create something original from it and I ended up with this.

Any way this was what I wanted to recreate maybe next time😅:

2 months into FL Studio at the beginning video game music recreation

This is supposed to be a recreation of the STARLIGHT ZONE Ost from SONIC 1.

Original OST:

https://youtu.be/NVoNyufMUpo?si=X-QjPjahBXvHQpr3

The original ost is written in a major scale but I initially never realized this, so I ended up writing in a minor scale(D# minor)

By the time I realized this mistake I was already halfway through completion so I just continued with what I made.

By the way didn't write a bass, maybe I'll do it later maybe I won't, what kind of like it without a base though.
