Seeking friends for my mother who is visiting from Korea to explore the local area together

Hi everyone! My mother is visiting from Korea and staying with me for the next 6 weeks.

While I am at work, it would be wonderful if she could meet some friends to explore the local area and Boston.

She is 50 and her English proficiency is basic, so bonus points if you or someone you know speaks Korean.

Trying currently: meeting people at Korean church communities. And signing up for some community events and classes (English classes at library)

I also posted to Craigslist community activity partners section seeking a walking partner

Seeking in-person ESL English lessons one-on-one tutoring

Are there any local in-person tutors available for hire?

Tried so far: conversation club at Brookline library. Appreciate the group but did not meet my needs (pacing).

I also emailed Brookline library for 1-on-1 tutoring availability but haven't hear back yet (the website mentions there is often a shortage of tutors) https://www.brooklinelibrary.org/ongoing/ell/

I also saw on Monday Boston public library will open grammar class registration, so I will try that too. https://www.bpl.org/ell/

I also saw Brookline Rec has ESL classes, but I need beginner level. https://www.register.brooklinerec.com

I also found this at the senior center, I will contact Dick Morse

This is for my mother who speaks Korean.
