Cpl in the reserves to Aviator in the Reg Force

so i was a cpl in the reserves. i joined the reserves in 2015 in the infantry trade. i did my dp1 in 2016, did some other qualifications like winter indoc, 9 mm, and weapons det. I go promoted to cpl in 2018. I VRd in 2023 and then remustered as avionics systems tech this year 2026 in the air force reg force. My starting rank is level 3 aviator. For some reason I thought it was standard to lose my cpl rank so I accepted the contract. Ig I was dumb. Turns out, some people who also remustered almost at the same time as me got to keep their cpl ranks despite being in the reserves for only 4 years. And they were also infantry in the reserves. I feel like it's unfair for me that I didn't get to keep my cpl rank even I spent more years in the reserves than these guys. I feel like quitting if im being honest. It's unfair

OFP

If I remuster to the CAF reg force 3 years after I released from the reserves and placed in a supplementary reserves, do I lose my OFP and will start brand new to the new trade I got enrolled for? (i was in a combats trade in the reserves and remustering in the air force reg force as specialist technician currently in PAT)

previous OFP still required to pay for R&Q in Borden

does anyone know about the May 2026 policy that states that people who are remustering to the CAF 3 years after releasing from their previous trade and have qualifications on that trade, when placed in a PAT Platoon in the air force with Specialist trade, are still required to pay for Rations and Quarters in borden. thank you
