Opinions on an appropriate age to watch Guardians 3?

For context, my niece is turning ten this year, but she has autism and is pretty sensitive about certain things. She has also definitely grown up kind of sheltered, at least on our side of the family. Her mom only very recently let her watch the third Harry Potter film.

Here's the dilemma. She LOVES Rocket Raccoon. She has read all the kid-geared Rocket comics. She's watched all the guardians movies (minus the third) and all the cartoons that feature him. She even was insisting that they name her baby brother Rocket last year and she would tell everyone they were (despite that obviously not being the case lol). She now has a kitten named Rocket though.

Recently she has been begging to watch the third film. Her dad recently got remarried and she has a slightly older step brother she sees a lot more now, and imo that + just her age she is starting to feel like a baby with the restrictions. Her mom asked what I thought and I have advocated in the past for having more faith she can handle stuff (because I do think her mom underestimates her at times), but with this I really don't know. I myself found parts distressing

So, if you have kids, especially if you have sensitive kids -- did you let them watch? How did they handle it? And do you regret it / wish you would have waited til they were a little older?

When we were kids, we had unlimited access to television and could watch whatever we wanted lol. So it's been hard finding the appropriate middle ground
