With the randomizer, I got the 14th overall spot. The draft is snake format with 3rd round reversal. It was also a slow draft with a 3-hour timer per manager.

League Draft Context:
- At the start of the draft, future FRP's were of high value, being traded straight up for drafted players in the first four rounds (2 or 3 FRP's = 1 player).
- Lottery pick rookies from the 2026 NBA draft were also valued at a premium
- By the 6th round, future FRP's were used to buy 8th-9th round picks (1 FRP = 1 8th/9th round pick). The league was in a trading frenzy for current picks.
- By the 8th round, FRP's lost value, and a combined FRP + SRP can't even buy a single pick anymore.
- By the 10th round, league transactions came to a halt, with just 1 minor trade since then.
Personal notes:
- As you probably guessed, I am a Mavericks fan, that's why I am higher than most on these players.
- First trade of the draft was my trade for 1.07. Apparently, at least two other people were trying to get it -- one intended to draft Cooper Flagg, the other intended to draft Anthony Edwards. I closed the deal with the 2027 FRP.
- PJ Washington and Naji Marshall were one of the BPA's at the spot I drafted them, so I can't say I picked them just because they are Mavs players. However, I am banking also on either or both of them getting traded in real life, to further boost their values for my team or as future trade pieces.
- I made and received at least 15 trade offers in total, and only 3 actually pushed through even after further negotiations.
- With Cooper Flagg as my centerpiece, my goal in this draft is to build a somewhat youthful team that may just be a fringe playoff team in Year 1, but can grow into a contender in years 2-4. Please let me know if I was able to achieve that
