v7.1.0 has been released on the App Store! Here's everything new in this version of Goodnotes:

iOS/iPadOS

  • Fixed several issues with audio recording and transcription, including the clip name disappearing, the seekbar drifting, transcript lines reordering, and details going out of sync when switching documents or opening a recording while another was active.
  • Fixed an issue where Cloud Transcription was unavailable on a fresh install until the app was relaunched.
  • Restored the Simplified, Traditional, and Cantonese Chinese options in the transcription language picker.
  • Fixed an issue where Goodnotes Al did not follow your system language after you changed it.
  • Fixed an issue where the status bar could reappear while importing a document after you had chosen to hide it.
  • Fixed an issue where library thumbnails could appear too far apart after resuming the app.
  • Fixed an issue where the text cursor could disappear while renaming a document or folder.
  • Fixed an issue where comments could briefly disappear when saving a new comment thread.
  • Fixed an issue with restoring documents from the trash.
  • Education: Teachers can now invite other teachers as co-teachers to collaborate on shared class folders.
  • Refreshed the Goodnotes interface for the new iOS 26 Liquid Glass design.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur while closing the app.
  • Education: Teachers can now invite other teachers as co-teachers to collaborate on shared class folders.
  • General bug fixes and stability improvements.
