hi guys. i was using GoodNotes 6 (the pro version) like i always have for the past 7 months. I noticed it was a bit buggy and laggy so i went to the app store to check for any updates, but i couldn’t find the app ANYWHERE. i tried searching on my
ipad and macbook. the search bar doesn’t show it, and even when i click on it in “my apps” it just says the page failed to load repeatedly. i don’t understand, is this some new regional restriction they have going on???

I’m upgrading to a newer iPad and I’m considering buying the Apple Pencil Pro.
I already own GoodNotes 5 (the paid version) and I don’t want to upgrade to GoodNotes 6 unless it’s absolutely necessary.
The main feature I’m interested in is the Apple Pencil Pro squeeze gesture, where you squeeze the pencil to bring up a tool palette and quickly switch between pens, eraser, highlighter, etc.
I’ve searched YouTube but I can’t find anyone actually using an Apple Pencil Pro with GoodNotes 5. Every video seems to be on GoodNotes 6.
So my questions are:
Does the Apple Pencil Pro squeeze feature work in GoodNotes 5?
If it does, what exactly can it do?
If it doesn’t, is the squeeze feature exclusive to GoodNotes 6?
For someone planning to stay on GoodNotes 5, is buying the Apple Pencil Pro still worth it, or should I just get the USB-C Apple Pencil or another option?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually tried this combination. Thanks!

I’m going to be starting college soon and plan to get a master’s in Chemical Engineering. I have an iPad that I plan to use for handwriting notes and drawing diagrams/charts and stuff, but idk what notes app to use.

I’m currently trying to decide between Goodnotes and Noteful (open to other apps too if anyone has suggestions).

What do you guys think would be better? I’ve seen posts favoring both, but they’re kinda old so I wanted to see what people thought now.

TL;DR I’m starting college for Chemical Engineering and want to know if Goodnotes or Noteful is better.

i got my iPad 3 days ago and i don't even have that many apps. can't even put my hand on the screen bc it's that heated up while using goodnotes. how do i fix this?

Hello guys, I have been using goodnotes on iPad air 64gb version and i wanted to upgrade to a newer i pad with more storage,but now with the iPad price increase i was thinking of going for galaxy tab .I am more concerned about the goodnotes note taking experience on it.Is goodnotes bugged in samsung variant?

i just got my Ipad today and im trying to find the one time payment subscription but all I see is the monthly and yearly payment. is it just not available anymore?

I have to say, I definitely wasn’t expecting to appear in Starnote’s main post, and that honestly made me really happy.

So, to honor that and give something back to the community, I’m sharing the templates I created using my own creativity, study style, and, of course, a little bit of anime inspiration haha.

I hope these templates can help other students make their notes more organized, more personal, and maybe even a little more fun to study with.

I’d also like to kindly ask the Starnote devs if it would be possible to make these templates available for free in the Starnote Store, so that anyone in the community can download and use them.

HI guys!

I have, for the past couple of months, comparing various note-taking apps, at last my choice fell on GoodNotes rather than Notability (the main competitor in my mind).

This is for various reasons, mainly the fact that with 11,99 $ (10,52 € at the current exchange rate of 1 USD = 0,88 EUR) I'll get everything that I need for note taking and studying.

However, before committing to anything, I'd like to hear some advices from people who actually use it. So, is the essential subscription worth the price and is in general the app a valuable companion in studying? Beware that I'll be using an iPad Air 11", most probably paired with an Apple Pencil pro.

Hello guys,
i have a severe problem with Goodnotes and cant find any fixes on Google for my issue. maybe someone Can help me.
So the Problem is, when im Inserting a Screenshot, which i already cutted directly over my iPad Air 2024, as i took it and inserting this already cutted picture in my Goodnotes Document, the Full Screenshot get‘s inserted and Not just the Part of it, which i already segregated. Maybe someone knows a fix.
Sorry for my Englisch, its not my First Language.
