So I (26F) just started using Hinge a few days ago and did not realize it only gives you 8 free likes. I saw a profile that seemed promising right after using them up (which seems like an intentional moneymaking move from the app, showing a compatible match only after I'm out of likes). In the future I'll definitely be more selective to avoid this problem, but for now if I close the app, am I likely to ever see this person again (I live in a pretty big city)? If not, should I use the free rose thing? It seems like coming on a lot stronger than I meant to but I'd rather not lose the profile forever.
