Drove to Greenbelt and went through the parking lot fare gates (open like on a weekend, I thought) and went all the way to the entrance before seeing one printed paper sign saying it was closed just today July 5. There was a bus shuttle and the driver kindly told us there was a closure at College Park too.

Is this emergency maintenance or something? A lot of other people were doing the same as me, going in all the way to the gated mezzanine before a sign something was off. There was no posting on wmata’s website that I saw. I understand if it’s an emergency but for a planned outage more notice would be good especially on a hot day.
