I feel as though this post will be controversial but I have to say it. Ok
I was intrigued initially that a pretty privilege subreddit existed but some posts make me a little skeptical. For background I have used my looks to make money such as brand ambassador, bottle girl in LA. I’ve finished my education and I work in healthcare now. I get stared at constantly, and told every day to every other day how beautiful I am by men and women of all ages and ethnicities. I asked a male author of the book I was reading to sign it for me and his hand was shaking and he could barely talk to me without stuttering. I do get hate from insecure women and men but all around I have positive experiences. I am highly educated so being attractive has had some downsides while working with other educated men but other than that things are good.
So sometimes I can’t relate to what people some people say in here. I did go through some of the profiles on here and I’m not trying to be disrespectful when I say that some of the issues written on here are not due to pretty punishment. The last three photos I saw of a few OPs were of average to below average women. And I mean objectively average looking women. Some were even extremely overweight.
Like I said not trying to be rude and beauty is subjective but not THAT subjective and some of you guys need to be honest.
