[New Watch Face] - Terminal Dashboard

Made a minimalistic, kind of opinionated watch face — everything shows like command output: a prompt line up top, the big clock, then a few rows (BAT / STEP / HR / TEMP) and a blinking cursor. Monospaced pixel font (Terminus) so it stays clean and sharp. I just wanted something minimal that looks neat on the wrist.

Full disclosure, I'm the developer — it's my own face on the Connect IQ Store. There's a free 7-day trial, then it's $2.99 one-time to keep it.

Happy to hear any change requests/ideas and likely will implement them!

Made my Epix Pro look like a terminal

With all these AI agents around it feels like more people are back in the terminal, so I wanted my Epix Pro to kind of match that. It shows the time and stats like command output — a prompt line up top (user@fenix), the big clock, then rows like BAT / STEP / HR / TEMP and a blinking cursor.

Depending on the watch size it shows a few rows of data (more on the bigger screens), each customisable out of 23 options, and the font is monospaced so it actually looks like a real terminal. Dark + light themes and always-on too.

Works on a bunch of Garmin watches, so really keen on feedback from Fenix / Epix people — functionality, bugs, whatever. I hear it all and ship changes quickly.

Made my watch look like a terminal

With all that AI agents I think more people started to use terminals and I decided it would be cool to have a WatchFace in this style. Depending on the watch size it supports 4-6 rows of the data, each is customisable out of 23 options. The font is monospaced to make it look like a real terminal

It supports lots of different watchfaces so really looking forward for any feedback on functionality bugs and so on. I hear it all and introduce changes really quickly.

I made a terminal / command-line style watch face

Hey, I spend most of my day in a terminal so I wanted my watch to kind of match that. So I made a Garmin watch face that shows everything like command output — a prompt line on top (user@model), the big time, then rows like BAT, STEP, HR, TEMP and a blinking cursor at the bottom.

It uses a real pixel font (Terminus) so the text stays sharp instead of blurry. You can pick which data rows to show, there's a light and dark theme, and always-on display works too.

There's a free 24h trial and a $2.99 paid version if anyone wants to try it. Feedback welcome.

Terminal-style watch face (baked a Terminus pixel font to keep it sharp)

Hey, I made a watch face that looks like a terminal / status command output. Prompt line, big clock, then configurable rows (bat, steps, hr, temp, etc) and a blinking block cursor.

One annoying thing: custom bitmap fonts on Garmin get drawn as a 1-bit mask, so a normal smooth font baked to bitmap looks jaggy. So I baked Terminus (a real pixel font) at integer sizes, it rasterizes with no anti-aliasing and stays crisp on both AMOLED and MIP.

Other fiddly bit: screens go from tiny 218px up to 454px, so I show a different number of data rows per size (3, 4 or 5) and ship a separate settings file per resolution, so the config menu only offers the rows that actually fit that screen.

There's a free 24h trial, paid version is $2.99. Feedback welcome, especially on other devices.

Updated my Nothing-inspired Garmin watch face — more customization and MIP support

Hey, I posted this watch face here around a month ago and got quite a lot of useful feedback. Since then I’ve been slowly adding requested options while trying to keep it minimal.

Latest changes:

  • New Static Colon mode, so the accent colon doesn’t blink
  • Notification count and BT connection for the bottom row
  • Customizable Sunrise, Sunset, UTC and Moon times
  • Dark and Light themes on AMOLED and MIP
  • 10 accent colors
  • Larger complications and option to hide them
  • More complication choices
  • Optional leading zero in 12-hour mode
  • Better performance, device support and many small layout fixes

There is a free 24-hour trial, and now also a separate paid version directly through Garmin. I’m the developer, so feedback or real-device photos are very welcome.

Made a Nothing-style watch face for Garmin Instinct

Hey r/GarminInstinct — I’m the creator of Nothing Style WatchFace, sharing it here because the rugged Instinct 3 AMOLED look fits this design really well.

It’s a minimalist dot-matrix Garmin watch face inspired by Nothing’s design language: high-contrast black/white layouts, one accent color, and a clean data-first layout.

Important compatibility note: this supports Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct Crossover AMOLED, but not Instinct 3 Solar / Instinct MIP right now. MIP support exists for many other round Garmin watches, including Fenix, Forerunner, Enduro, MARQ, Vivoactive, and others, but the Instinct Solar-style 176×176 semi-octagon 2-color display needs a separate layout/palette pass.

Main features:

  • Four accent modes — pulsing colon, accent “1” digits, both, or full-face tint
  • Ten accent colors — red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue, purple, pink, coral
  • Three customizable complications
  • Large complication mode for better readability
  • Configurable bottom row: sunrise, sunset, UTC, moonrise, moonset
  • Weather with day/night switching
  • 12h / 24h time
  • Dark / Light theme
  • AMOLED AOD-safe dim mode with pixel shifting
  • MIP-friendly layouts for supported round MIP Garmin watches

Free install with a 24-hour trial. After that, full use requires a one-time unlock.

I’d really appreciate feedback from Instinct 3 AMOLED users: readability, battery impact, layout, and which data fields you’d want added next.

I made a minimal dot-matrix Forerunner watch face, then Reddit feedback made it way more customizable

Hey r/garminforerunner — I’m the creator of Nothing Style WatchFace.

The original idea was very minimal: white-on-black dot-matrix time, one red accent, three clean data fields, and no clutter. But after posting early versions on Reddit, people asked for more control: different accent colors, light theme for MIP/readability, larger data fields, configurable bottom row, more complications, and a safer AOD mode.

So the default setup is still minimal, but the face has become much more customizable now.

Current options include:

- Dark or light theme

- 10 accent colors

- Accent modes: colon, 1s, both, or full-face color

- Three configurable data fields

- Large complications mode

- Configurable bottom row: sunrise, sunset, UTC, moonrise, moonset

- AMOLED AOD-safe time-only mode

- MIP time-only sleep mode

Forerunner support includes FR70, FR165/170, FR245/255, FR265/265S, FR570, FR745, FR945, FR955, FR965 and FR970.

I’m posting here mostly to get Forerunner-specific feedback because the screen sizes vary a lot across the line. If you try it, please tell me your exact model and what feels too small, too crowded, missing, or broken.

I updated my Nothing-style Garmin watch face based on Reddit feedback — bigger data fields, more devices, MIP support

Hey everyone!

A few days ago I shared a Nothing/CMF-inspired Garmin watch face here, and I got a lot of useful feedback from this subreddit. Some of it was very direct 😄 but honestly it helped a lot.

https://apps.garmin.com/apps/d2feae7c-03a2-424f-aadb-ac71a5e5a8ea

Since then I’ve shipped a bunch of updates based on the comments:

  • lowered the price + now easy to buy without emails and so on. Just open a site, enter the code and that's it
  • added bigger data field / complication options
  • fixed 12h time format issues
  • added support for more Garmin models
  • added MIP support
  • added light/dark theme options
  • added an option to hide some visual elements for a cleaner look
  • fixed a few device-specific crashes and layout issues
  • "full" red mode = 1s red + colon

The idea is still the same: a clean, high-contrast, Nothing/CMF/OnePlus-style watch face with dot-style typography, red accent, weather, steps, HR, battery, and customizable fields.

I’m especially looking for feedback from people with:

  • Forerunner 955 / 965 / 265 / 265s
  • Fenix 7 / 7 Pro / Fenix 8
  • Epix / Epix Pro
  • Venu 3 / 3S
  • Vivoactive 5
  • MIP-screen Garmin watches

The free trial still works as usual, so please only unlock it if you actually like it after trying.

I’m still improving it, so honest feedback is more useful to me than just positive comments. And if you’re already using it and like it, an honest Connect IQ review would help a lot because the watch face is still new.

Thanks again to everyone who tested the first version — many of the current changes came directly from your comments.

Small thank-you for Reddit testers: I made a 50% discount code — REDDIT — for the first 30 people.

I made oneplus/nothing-style watch face for Fenix 8 AMOLED / Epix Pro

I used a Fenix 5 for a few years, and now I’m on Epix Pro AMOLED.

After switching to AMOLED, I wanted a clean watch face that uses the black screen well, so I made a Nothing-inspired one.

It has a minimal black design, dot-style elements, red accent, weather, and custom data fields.

I think it looks best on bigger AMOLED screens, so Fenix 8 AMOLED 51mm / Epix Pro 51mm should be the best fit.

In the last few days I got some nice feedback from Reddit and already added fixes: 12h time, larger complications, more supported models, and bug fixes

Still improving it, so feedback from Fenix / Epix users is very welcome.

I made a OnePlus/Nothing-inspired watch face for Garmin

Hey everyone,

I’m a big fan of OnePlus and Nothing’s design language, so I made a Garmin watch face inspired by both!

It has a minimal high-contrast layout, dot-style elements, clean typography, and customizable data fields.

It has 2 modes: more "OnePlus" (1's are read) and more Nothing 😃

Obviously, It’s not official — just a fan-made design experiment for Garmin users.

Wdyt?

I made a Nothing-inspired watch face for Garmin

I’m a big fan of Nothing’s (and a bit of OnePlus!) design language, so I made a Garmin watch face inspired by the Nothing OS / CMF aesthetic.

It has a minimal high-contrast layout, dot-style elements, clean typography, and customizable data fields.

It’s not official — just a fan-made design experiment for Garmin users.

I’d love to hear feedback from Nothing/CMF fans: what would make it feel even more “Nothing”?
