Is it just me or is it impossible to ask for a partial refund now?

I've tried my phone, I've tried two browsers, and while I can select "items missing" and "incorrect quantity" and post supporting pics (including screenshots of the seller's lack of response over the last week), it ALWAYS goes to -

"As your return request is due to personal change of mind (e.g., no longer needed, unmet expectations, etc), you shall be responsible for this return shipping fee."

I don't want to return anything. I don't even want a full refund, I'd just like the cost of a replacement part covered.

I don't really care about the tiny amount of money involved, I'd just like the site to work properly. AE lose money because of this sort of thing; people get frustrated and annoyed and stop, or reduce, spending money there.

They've changed the rules for Bundle Deals

Not sure if this is an Australian thing or worldwide.

Used to be; pick three items, free shipping, done.

The new rules are (copied from AE page):

How it works

• You can enjoy free shipping for Choice items on all orders over AU$15.

• Orders of AU$15 or more unlock additional bundle discounts. For example, buy 5+ items to get AU$6 off. You can find discount details on the Bundle Deals main page.

• No coupons codes needed. Pick items you want and the discount applies automatically at checkout.

So, that's the same basic deal as Choice, but with some extra discounts. I haven't tried it yet and maybe the deals are still worthwhile, but I know I'll miss being able to buy a few little items for a few dollars.

It's possible they're starting with smaller markets and will be rolling it out in the USA, UK, etc later. But I'd be interested to know if it's changed in the rest of the world too.
