I built an Android app to manage 3D printing filament — looking for beta testers 👀
I got tired of tracking filament with spreadsheets and random notes, so I started building my own Android app for it 😄
It’s called rocchetto and it’s focused on making filament management actually useful during the real printing workflow.
Current features:
- spool inventory (FDM + resin)
- OCR label scanning
- NFC tag support
- .gcode / .3mf import
- MakerWorld & Printables link analysis
- automatic filament usage estimation
- print cost calculation
- low stock notifications
- filament color matching + finder
The app is still in beta and currently completely FREE because I’m trying to find bugs, improve the UI/UX, and understand what makers actually want before release.
At the moment it’s Android only.
I’m looking for some testers from the community 👀
If you’d like to try it, just leave a comment and I’ll contact you in DM with the beta access link.
