Asprey of London Demitasse Spoon Set (CA, USA)

Went thrifting and found this lovely set of 8 demitasse spoons from Asprey of London. Velvet and silk case with leather exterior. Beautiful patina.

The inscription on the case interior states “by appointment to her majesty the queen, Silversmiths and Jewelers, Asprey & Co LTD, New Bond Street, London”

Very art deco, appears to have Bakelite coffee beans on the handles. Never seen anything like this before.

Although I initially planned to melt and make jewelry with it (home smelter and casting equipment)… I can’t bring myself to destroy something this beautiful. It now stirs my coffee.

Are these common or is this a rare find?
