Best semi-silent switches for the office?
Hi everyone, I recently got a new job where I am in a cubicle setting that is extremely quiet. I got the Yunzii B98 Pro when it was on sale 2 weeks ago, and while I LOVE the sound of the candy switches… It is unfortunately too loud for work and I have to return it which sucks. I have a few different full size keebs I have modded in the past, but wanted to try something new at this point.
I’m looking for a semi silent or quiet switch that is muted yet deep and on the creamy/thocky side if at all possible? Not sure if that exists lol. But I don’t need them completely silent if that makes sense. Budget is around $50-60 for approx. 80+ switches.
After copious amounts of google searching/watching YouTube vids, I wanted your opinions on the following if any of you have it: Keygeek Y2, HMX Moksae, Huano Sakura, TTC Bluish White, Akko Rosewoods, Durock Shrimp T1s, Gateron Milky Yellow Pros, Zero Degree, or Oil Kings.
Switches I currently have for reference:
- Outemu Silent Peach v3’s - smooth but too silent lol
- Outemu Graywoods - too clacky/loud
- Gateron Mint Smoothies - these are on my current keeb & work fine but I just want something different!
