Post removal

With a power washer, and farm jack, removing a fence post takes about 20 mins. I am in very heavy clay soil. Flush your post (in my case the wind did the job) drill a hole in the center and screw in the largest lag eye bolt you can. Use a wand with a orbital head. Start blasting around where you think the concrete is and commence to blasting all the soil away and down as far as your wand goes. Keep going until you have opened up a good amount around and all the way down. Then attach farm jack and pull out, it will pull easy. Once out you already have a nice hole filled with water. Set and plumb new post, fill with cement. Dig with the wand after the old post is out if you don't like the depth or dia of the hole. Removing the post was about 15 mins or so. It's a lil messy, but sure saves hard digging work.
