A&F Challenge single ticket, Friday 9/18 - Columbus, OH

We have an extra ticket because someone who dropped out and we are coming from 3 hours out of town, so hard to find someone else willing to go.

Headliners are Maroon 5 and The Lumineers, plus 5 other bands. Includes all you can eat and drink street food, beer/wine/cocktails and free food trucks later in the evening and lots of other activities on site. This is the 5th time we've gone, always a good time.

We paid $175 for the ticket, and they just released some extra tickets after being sold out to waitlisters for $225. We are willing to sell for $125.

If interested, I'd like to use a trusted escrow system like Cashortrade (updated) and the Challenge will change over the ticket to you in their system then, and youd receive the ticket QR code this week. DM me on here if you are interested.

"UFL All Backup Team" vs. UFL Teams

Off of this post...
https://www.reddit.com/r/UnitedFootballLeague/comments/1v1p3l1/comment/oz0gpla/?screen_view_count=2&ext-referrer=DIRECT

We pretty much fully decided no All-UFL team was going to beat any level of NFL backups, 3rd stringer or even all-practice squad teams.

But, to go back to what the article was doing... if we did that with the UFL...

A) What would the 2026 "UFL All Backup Team" likely be?
B) Could it beat any of the UFL teams last year.

I think part of that will show the differences in depth (or shallowness) of rosters in UFL vs the NFL (the article writers only thought the NFL backup team could beat the worst 2-3 NFL teams at best).

"All UFL" vs. "Team NFL Backups"

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/49391788/2026-nfl-season-all-backup-team-rosters-bench-players-barnwell

An interesting exercise, and it does bring a comparison to an "All-UFL team" vs this "bench players" team, since this is the thing people bring up... NFL backups vs. those cut are generally just a "decision" away in ability, although most would say the "cuts/UFL players" should be compared to the "3rd stringers", not the direct bench backups that are on this "Team Backups".

So, this "Best NFL bench players" team being made is likely still a team that would beat All-UFL 99% of the time, or do we think Team UFL might have a little more % of wins in 100 simmed games?

Indiana Bears an opportunity for UFL?

The Bears Fandom is up in arms about it this morning.... a good chunk arent going to take to this like like the NY teams playing in NJ.

I know that folks here and likely Repole would want to have a team there play at the new MLS stadium, which will be basically right next to Soldier Field, so they could really play at either location, it will hold 22k, which if theyd averaged 20k a game would be exceptional for the UFL. Maybe id have their home stadium be McDonalds field, but have their inaugural game at SF and see how many tickets they can sell. IMO, playing the first spring after the last season the Bears are in SF, they'd do Battlehawks level of support.

If I was the UFL, I'd put this offer out there to Bears fans:

Put a deposit of $300 down... this will get you a guarantee of a season ticket for the first season of a UFL team playing at SF or McDonalds Park, regardless of number of home games (right now 5, but even if season expands to 12 games or more by the time they play, you'd get a full season ticket). If there is no UFL Chicago team by 2032 (or the league folds before then), you get your deposit back in full. If they get to 10k deposits, the league guarantees the team will play the spring following the Bears final season at SF.

That will be $3,000,000+ the UFL can just sit on and collect interest on until the team materializes.

Innovation coming from Video Games

Just wondering, are there any known instances where some "innovation" in the score bugs actually started from a video game vs. originating from a broadcast?
