Question on INDX upgrade - Is the Gen 2 Kit supposed to be included?

EDIT- Found the box-the kit was a small box inside the other boxes. Somehow I expected something 'bigger" :-)

Through the various delays of the INDX shipping, I thought I read the Gen 2 kit is supposed to be included. I received the INDX 8 head today, started disassembling the printer, then unboxing (I know- wrong order), and do not see any of the Gen2 upgrade parts in the box. I also never received an email for my options on the rebate for the "Nozzlegate" issues. Is this normal?

When does the "Weekend Warrior" Mentality go away?

I retired in Dec 2024 and have been doing somewhat normal retirement things: doomscrolling Reddit, taking different trips, etc. I also have been working on upgrades around the house. Recently, our water heater sprang a leak, and after doing the "emergency" removal of the rugs and damaged boxes, we are in the process of fixing the lower level up. Today, as we were ordering the flooring, I found myself asking if it could be delivered by next Friday, planning to install it over the weekend.

After I asked, I realised - I have done over 80% of the home improvement projects over weekends, when I could have just as well worked on them during the week, and then had more free time on the weekends for events that are only on Fri/Sat/Sun.

Amazon's new delivery Subject lines

Has anyone noticed how Amazon has started changing its subject lines and adding some odd graphics in the text?

The other odd thing is the two "Home Improvement Items" are parts for my Prusa Core One printer, the "Lawn & Garden Item" is also a 3d printer part (The PTFE tube, and a cutter). Of course, the "Automotive Item" is a shovel.

Session Expiring within seconds of login

I have been having issues with both my Truenas servers today - I can log in to the web ui, but within a minute, I am getting an expired session and being kicked out.

I can SSH to both servers and have checked that the time is correct on both of them. The one time I was able to get to the session timeout settings via the UI, I confirmed I had it set to 3600 seconds, so there should not be a timeout there.

I have also done the obvious things -rebooted both the Truenas devices and my local machine, and even rebooted the router.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else to look at?

Kernel Panic - not sure if HexOS or Truenas related

My HexOS server has been rebooting on its own/ not booting, so I tried troubleshooting today, and finally caught this message (I had to attach the output to HDMI recorder to catch it:

From a google/ai search, It looks like ZFS doesnt like something, but I don't know what, or how to get this repaired.

Kea DHCP v6

UPDATE: Fixed subnet references in the original text.

SOLVED: I needed to remove my messed up DHCPv6 configuration, both the subnet and PD Pools, and change the subnet on the LAN to Dynamic Prefix (Which is mirrored in the PD Pools section.).

I also switched the Lan IPV6 connection type to identity association.

---------------------------------

Hi,

I am confused about how to properly use Kea DHCP v6 on a FIOS home network.

My LAN IP interface is set to "Track Interface" (Now it has (Legacy) afterwards)

I used to have a setting to request a /56 address, but I can't find that setting anymore.

It looks like my WAN Interface has a good IPV4 Ip address, and a fe80:: IPV6 address.

My lan interface has my expected internal IP address, and a v6 /64 address starting with.

2600:4040:a286:e00

So I set my kea DHCPv6 subnet to : 2600:4040:a286:e00::/64

Address range: 2600:4040:a286:e00:: - 2600:4040:a2ad:4100:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff

After updating OPNSense, when the router rebooted, I got a different IPV6 address: 2600:4040:a2ad:4100.

My questions are:

1 Is there an automatic way to get KEA to switch subnets? ISC DHCPv6 seems to do that.

  1. Am I being completely stupid and trying to fit my understanding of IPV4 into IPV6 and just messing things up?

  2. How do I get my local DNS Server working with changing IPV6 addresses?
