both cameras with no signs of life. i havent cracked them open to check fuses yet. any tips?

hey guys!! just bought both these handycams. On the left is a TR303 and on the right a TRV513 but both arent powering on!! i supplied 7.1 volts directly to both battery terminals but both wont power on. I checked with my multimeter and the batteries i have output 6 volts which is normal. both have no sight of life. any ideas?????

i came. i saw. i conquered.

goodwill had this nice deep picture frame and i thought to myself that it could be used for ipods and when i came home i tried it and it looks amazing!!! highly reccomend
