Best way to calibrate for old AVR (Onkyo TX-RZ900)
I really like my Onkyo RZ900. It was their flagship and sounds really good and powerful. However, when I first got it years ago, I calibrated it using Audyssey. The result was bad. I ended up doing something really basic. I used a sound meter to test the output of each of my speakers and adjusted their sound level to around 90db. It sounds much better. Then I eq it further to my taste. Nothing scientific.
I am sure my system is poorly calibrated. I don’t want to replace the AVR because it is still like brand new. Is there any option to calibrate it further?
Any advice is highly appreciated
