Secluded/secret spots to see near and south of Dumaguete

Hello, my wife and I just landed in Dumaguete for 9 days and would like to explore the nice spots that tourists don’t typically know about. We will have a rented scooter, and we are fairly physically fit, albeit aging knees, so we can hike a bit (up to a mile if needed). We love caves, waterfalls, and gorgeous views of either ocean or mountains.

Where would you recommend?

Hello, I received my retirement letter last year, and pondered staying in or getting out and just now deciding that I want to retire, and as fast as possible. Let's just say, I want it as fast as possible because my unit is retaliating against me and forcing me to attend AT or face FTR discharge. In short, because I'm sure someone is wondering, I booked/paid for THIS years family vacation LAST year months before the 2026 training schedule was released, so I had no way of knowing when 2026 AT dates were. Well, my luck, it falls during the same time as that vacation I paid for. It's non-refundable, and I would literally lose $8000 if I attended AT instead.

So, I just now submitted the PAR for voluntary retirement-enlisted in IPPSA, and attached my retirement points document as well as the survivor benefits thing, just in case S1 needed it. Does anyone know if there is a way I can help speed up the process? I don't like to be a pain in anyone's ass, so I typically don't like to bug S1 every single day, but is that something I should do so they stay on top of that PAR and the process?

I already have orders to the AT which is one month away. Is it possible to have retirement orders or at least something in the works that can revoke or supersede the AT orders to get me out of that nonsense? I'm 100% P&T VA disabled as well, so I'm really worried if they discharge me in a bad way (dishonorable, OTH, general) I might lose that. I've done right by the Army for over 21 years with active duty and reserve time, never failed a PT test, never flagged under ht/wt, was an instructor, a section NCOIC, deployed to Iraq, and so many good things and great memories, but this command of mine is instantly making me hate the Army.
