Demon concept

I have an idea for a homebrew demon, but I'm not quite sure how I would write up its power. I wanted to get some help working it out.

The idea is a demon which allows the evil team to pass notes to each other at night. Something like:

Each night (except the first), choose a player, they die. All players know that [this demon] is in play. All players pass the storyteller a note at night to be delivered to another player. Notes from good players may not be delivered.

The idea being that I don't want the act of passing a note to give away clues about the evil team (paper wrustling, pencils scratching), so it seems like I have to open it up to everyone to write notes to each other. Then we have to make notes between good players unreliable so that it's easier for evil to bluff as good characters. "Did you get my message? No? Guess the storyteller discarded it."

I think the main idea behind this is it guarantees evil can discretely communicate and coordinate, even if they can't meet privately during the day, at the cost of announcing the demon type to the good team.

Question for old deleted kazali jinxes

I'm watching Ben Burn's old stream of the Dagger's Edge script on youtube "player's perspective - snekum's razor."

I can't read the jinxes in play on the screen because Ben's cam is in front of them, the link to the script gives a 403 error, and google fu is failing me.

Anyone remember what these old deleted jinxes used to be?

Homebrew townsfolk: The Busybody

Townsfolk: The Busybody

"Each night, choose a living player other than yourself. You learn who that player chose for their ability tonight, if any. If you chose the Demon, they learn your role."

"You'll never guess who I saw outside their doorstep last night!"

How to run

Wake the Busybody and have them choose another player. If they choose a dead player, ask them to choose a different player. After a legal choice is made, point to whichever player(s) that other player chose for their ability earlier in the night, or inform them that they did not choose anyone for their ability tonight. Put the Busybody back to sleep.

If the Busybody chooses the Demon with this ability, wake the Demon and inform them that the Busybody chose them and which player is the Busybody. Then put the Demon to sleep.

Meta

Just a rough draft concept I had. Powerful for potentially confirming other good characters, but it seems like evil could manipulate for solid bluff if they figure out the Busybody and craft a world around the info.

Looking for feedback. Happy to answer questions.
